Tool restoration

SAHTA's evening of tool restoration techniques featured Rob from Weber Abrasives showcasing some of the latest products that can be used to sympathetically remove rust during the restoration process. The fifty or so attendees brought along a range of their own tool projects, some which needed simple repairs to get back into working condition, whilst others required the use of lathes and mills to machine brass and/or exotic hardware to replicate the original. The shared knowledge is a key reason for being involved with SAHTA.
